Steve "Doc Hawg" Miller (Whistles, Irish Flute, Bodhran, Vocals)

Not to be confused with that rocker with a similar name, Steve was born and raised in North Carolina in a musical family -- piano, organ, guitar, banjo, trumpet and other wind instruments (immediate family) and a gospel quartet (extended family). With roots in County Galway, a love of Irish music came naturally. Steve has also been influenced by a lifetime of exposure to a wide array of music. In addition to playing the tinwhistle and Irish flute, he is a member of the Chancel Choir of Knollwood Baptist Church and the DCCC Chorus. He has a master's degree in business and a doctorate in education. In addition to music he enjoys sailing and riding his Harley, hence the nickname.

David Redmond (Guitars, Dulcimer,Bodhran)

David was born in Burlington, NC. His early influences include the Allman Brothers, Doc Watson and gospel hymns. In addition to performing with Blarney Pilgram, David does a lot of solo work, including monthly performances at the Homestead in Winston-Salem.
